MADtv (stylized as MADtv) is an American sketch comedy series that aired on Fox from 1995 to 2009, with a brief revival on The CW in 2016. Loosely based on Mad magazine, the show was a competitor to Saturday Night Live and was known for its pop culture parodies, political satire, and recurring original characters.
