Meet Privacy Eraser Pro , a program for cleaning your computer and registry of junk files and registry entries, as well as removing traces of your computer activity (traces of websites visited, documents opened, programs launched, and more). The developers call it an "all-in-one suite" for protecting your privacy and removing traces of your computer activity. Its interface is rather unusual, yet user-friendly: after launching, you'll see a single large button for starting a scan and functional tabs on the left, arranged in a circular pattern around this button.
The scan is quick, and the results are displayed. You can clear data with a reboot (as far as I understand, this applies to files blocked by the system or programs) or with a computer shutdown.
The functional tabs allow you to customize what the program will search for and suggest for cleaning. So, if you think some "junk" wouldn't be a problem, you can simply uncheck it. Or, conversely, check it.
According to the developers, the program has over 200 built-in plugins for recognizing junk from popular programs. You can also create and configure your own plugins (using the built-in plugin builder). The program finds and clears the caches of all popular browsers, their cookies, and *.dat files. It also works well with Internet Explorer: you can customize the start page, download path, cookies, cache, and more. If your system includes Firefox, Chrome, Safari, or Opera, the program will work with them as well.
Finally, among the useful tools, I'd highlight the file shredder and startup manager, which lets you manage startup elements. The program is easily translated if desired; it's localized in simple XML files. Overall, the program is a decent cleaner and can compete with similar programs.
