The interface is intuitive. The main window displays a list of POPcon servers. Select the desired one and configure it or start receiving mail with one click.
Account setup is top-notch, with support for POP3, POP3-SSL, IMAP, and IMAP-SSL. Specify the server address, login, password, port, and timeout.
You can configure the program to collect all emails from a mailbox, filtered by domain, or only a specific mailbox, forwarding them to a specific Exchange address.
Downloaded emails can be deleted from the POP3 server immediately, a copy can be left, or they can be stored for a certain number of days.

The scheduler operates in two modes: simple, where mail is collected at a set interval, and advanced, where you can configure different tasks for different days of the week. A built-in antivirus scans every incoming message before it reaches Exchange. Databases are updated hourly or daily, depending on your preference. Antispam is also included, along with sender-specific whitelists and blacklists. You can set your own email routing rules and forward copies to other addresses.

POPcon PRO is designed specifically for Exchange; if you have another mail server, it won't work. The program has been around for a long time and is regularly updated. MailEnable
is a decent mail server with similar gateway functionality, but it's heavier and more difficult to configure, which is its downside. Plus, a paid version is almost never available.
