Plot
Teenage math whiz Kenji Koiso agrees to take a summer job at the Nagano hometown of his crush, Natsuki. When he
arrives, he finds that her family have reunited to celebrate the 90th birthday of their matriarch. His job: pretend
to be Natsuki's fiancé. Meanwhile, his attempt to solve a mathematical equation causes a parallel world's collision
with Earth.
Trama
Chi non conosce i giochi virtuali che simulano una vita parallela, quante ore passate a giocare nei panni di chi ci
piacerebbe essere anche nella realtà? Ora immaginate che questo mondo di dati influenzi anche la vita reale,
provocando danni anche gravi. Degli avatar che, pur non rispecchiando del tutto la nostra persona, hanno accesso a
informazioni a seconda del proprio tipo di lavoro. Questo è il mondo di OZ virtuale, nel quale è coinvolta gran
parte della popolazione mondiale.La storia di Summer Wars è incentrata su questo "gioco" nel quale un'AI
(artificial intelligence) inizia a creare scompiglio, provocando danni anche al mondo reale...
