Synopsis:
Chronicling four years in the life of Julie (Renate Reinsve), a vibrant, deeply unsettled young woman navigating the turbulent waters of her twenties in Oslo. Lacking a definitive career path, Julie constantly drifts between choices—swapping medical school for psychology, then photography—and shifts between romantic relationships. She moves in with Aksel (Anders Danielsen Lie), a successful, older underground comic book artist who wants to settle down, only to later crash a wedding party and experience an electric, overnight connection with the younger, charming Eivind (Herbert Nordrum).
